The company is headed by Mel Abram. Mel has been in the trucking industry since 1972. He started as a file clerk with Chief Freight Lines at the Oklahoma City terminal. He worked there while attending college. After finishing college in 1975, his first job engagement was a junior executive with a Denver, Colorado company (Denver Coalition Ventures, Inc) preparing loan package (business plan) for small business applicants. Many of these applicants were persons seeking loans to go in the trucking business. Tax preparation, marketing assistance and general business counseling were also offer to these clients. He has had his own tax preparation business since 1976 working as part-time business at the start. He went on to work for the IRS and handle issues with ICC regulations.
A continuous updating of published and internet federal and state tax references keeps the firm on the "leading edge" of ever-changing tax laws and accounting methods.
