Catherine L. Scarms, President
Cathy is a certified tax preparer, a general agent representing most major insurance companies and a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. Cathy began her career as a small business owner in 1966 and she has worked in the financial field since 1978. She served as president of the Trendsetter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association during 2003 and 2004 and was Woman of the Year in 2002. She is listed in the Oxford Who's Who of Extraordinary Professionals.
Rick Scarms, M.B.A., Ph.D.
Rick is Vice President and CFO of Scarms Financial Group, Inc. He holds an M.B.A. in economics and Ph.D. in finance and has more than thirty years experience in the financial field to draw from. Rick has taught college courses in financial planning, money management, and estate planning. He has helped thousands of clients start and operate successful businesses and secure financial independance for themselves and their families. Rick is a sought speaker who has published articles on estate planning, business planning and tax-related subjects for insurance, financial, and estate planning publications.
